Thanks, I had forgotten that. I've made a few "trips around the sun" myself.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Maybe all my trips around the sun have made me a pessimist but phrases like that make me nervous.
On a related note, I catch a limit every time I go fishing, except when something goes wrong. So just heat up the skillet when I go, but don"t lose the pizza delivery number.

Hot dog! It’ll be open just in time for hurricane season.

Does anybody now exactly what is planned as far as the repairs go? Was wondering what needs to be done to the section just past the Nub.

I made a brief search for an RFP and can't find one. If anybody can find an RFP number that would help. Without a description of the work to be done we are in the dark.

There is probably no RFP because the permits have not yet been approved.

Wow, I may get to fish the pier again in my lifetime. Maybe I can hook a shark and reel it in.

Thanks for the updates! Hope to see you guys sometime soon.

I'm coming down late August. By my calculations you guys should prepare to enjoy the repaired pier sometime around the first week of September. That's how my luck goes! Tight lines everyone!

I’d love to see the repairs be done in September, or anytime this year. Not holding my breathe.

If they don't get started it'll be next year before repairs are completed. I'm just wondering when all this paper work process that's holding every thing up got started?
