I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

All that would be necessary is an eight inch tube that extends two feet below the surface. Put a restricting ring around the top opening to make it six inches so the idiots and hooligans couldn't jam in anything to clog it. This may be too simple for the bureaucratic mind to comprehend, so I'll see if I can think up something to complicate it.

The fix is easy. The problem is getting them to do it. I can hear the response now - "I don't know. Nobody ever tried anything like that before. That might cause a liability issue."

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
