Young ground hog isn't bad, pressure cooked , then pan fried in barbecue sauce.....shredded meat for sandwiches. ...just hard for me to get by the look of them, ate when I was young and not much sense to try.....not that hungry to eat since, but would iffin I had to

I cooked and ate a groundhog/woodchuck once as a kid. Maybe twice... just to find out if they were any good. Taste reminded me of squirrel, but with considerably more fat. Cooked in a large roaster pan with carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic and seasonings. I might have added a quart or two of beef stock. My step-dad liked it enough to request it again.

Just a big ground squirrel.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
