See why I was p!ssin' and moanin' about the water not warming up soon? ---And the turkeys haven't shed their fur yet and gobbling season starts in ten days. I may yet hold a protest march at the Washington bureau in charge of weather and small animals, even if I have to wear snow boots and carry my sign by myself---I'll have to depend on the kindness of strangers to tell me if the sign is right side up and if the f&#k you part is spelled correctly. Ennybody wanna go with me? You'll have to buy your own beer, but I'll buy the Slim JIms.
Wait a minute---this is supposed to be about fishing, isn't it? Oh well, blame it on cabin fever.

well at least with a good southern breeze it should push in warmer water and fish with it....although with all the melting snow north and cold water headed your way, might just be a wash....
Turkey hunting?? I might have to get out this spring for another tail fan for the wall or 2....plus they are darn fine groceries ....I need to get my monies worth on the property tax I pay....with a free land owners license.
I sure would like to do a little hog hunting thoughBill..............

When is it going to stop? I'm working in Kansas City right now and we had a record breaking 7 below zero yesterday morning. I'm tired of it!

To echo Bubba's kayak comments "HA! Whatabuncha WHINERS" ;-) LOL
Yesterday Mobile had one of the coldest (low high temp) and wettest March days on record and we went to Mardi Gras!
Yeah! Chillin & Grillin at Bienville Square baby!

A 'little' wind and rain won't dampen TRUE Mardi Gras spirit!

I've fished in worse.
the fish don't care if they get a 'little wet' ;-) LOLLast edited by Pier#r; 03-05-2014 at 10:55 AM.

Looking at the forecast, I think I'll spend the next couple of days in the garage building carpenter bee traps. One of the hardest parts of that project is drinking all the soda out of the 2-liter bottles that I use for the kill parlor. Now if beer came in clear, 2-liter plastic bottles---------

Nice beach you got there Bill!
The sand looks almost as white as ours!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
