Call the Gulf State park They have a section of the beach that they use for weddings and you can have the wedding party in the campground at the community building down be the pool.

My wife and I rented a house (two houses actually) out on Fort Morgan, in Morgan Town, and got married on the beach. It was fantastic!
We had one house where we stayed with her family from Japan and hosted all the events (rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, etc..), and my all my siblings and mom rented the house right next door. We rented both houses from that Wednesday afternoon to Sunday morning.
Got a better deal renting longer.
We had ours in May, after the cold fronts but before the afternoon thunderstorms kick in. Weather was perfect.
Had the wedding Saturday at 1pm. Ceremony was out on the beach, reception at the house inside & on the back deck. Had about 50 people, perfect.
The wedding party was the only ones allowed to dress up, tuxes, gowns and no shoes! Dress code for everyone else was casual, sun dresses, khakis & shirts, no ties, no shoes required.
After the wedding, my buddies did a big shrimp boil with two big pots & burners, shrimp from Bon Secour and smoked kielbasa from PA, with a pile of taters, corn & stuff.
Cold beverages, lots of other hourdourves and cake. Everyone loved it. Kids had a blast, adults had a blast. We even went and played put-put golf at the pirate ship in GS that night!
Absolutely the best decision we made, it was a blast.

Something Blue Beach Weddings- Gulf Shores Beach Weddings

Something Blue Beach Weddings based out of Fairhipe is who we used last year. The owner is top-notch and its a turn key operation. He supplied everything but the food for our party of 15. We rented three homes on Ft Morgan Rd within walking distance to the beach and did not require a permit since it is not a public access beach in that particular area. I will warn you that we researched planners extensively and many use fake flower arrangements, give a very brief photo session and will do multiple weddings in a day. Chris provided fresh flowers and arranged for my wife's bouquet to be made, brought along professional photography equipment, provided a CD with all edited photos to print as many as we'd like after the ceremony, and was still cheaper than many quotes we got. I have no reservations recommending this company. Good luck!

Haywire has the right spot. There is a boardwalk all the way to the beach and Cobalt restaurant is right across the street and would be an awesome place for a rexemption or rehearsal dinner.

Thanks for all the suggestions and info. Haywire ill be in touch. We are going to sit down this weekend and search around and see what's all available. With us being from out of state does that affect the permit or marriage license? Never done this before.

State of residence doesn't impact the marriage license. You have to apply in person at the probate office in Bay Minette. $40 and you both need your drivers license or birth certificate. Valid for 30 days after issuance.
