This one was thru Hogmans binoculars...
Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Like Wade stated on fb, "Those lightpoles are 20 feet high."
That is above the pier deck, which is almost 20 feet above 'normal' sea level.

That picture of the pier hurts. Sure hope the damage is not too severe.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Power just went out about half an hour ago, USB tethered to my phone and this is my last post till I fire the generator in the morning.
Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

2am and we're seeing 'the worst' in Mobile.
Been having gust 40-50 mph for the past hour and the lights have blinked a couple of times.
It's probably worse out in west Mobile with gusts nearer to hurricane force just above the ground...

Roll Call....Everyone OK down there. Realize if power out will cut down a lot of computer use and you may have far more important things to do. Praying for everyone down there. Hogmans picture of the waves at the octi was one to remember!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
