Naming a new boat is one thing. Renaming an old boat that is only new to you is another.Renaming Your Boat - BoatSafe.com

I agree with DRH - Don't do it!!! Kinda like bringing bananas on a boat:
"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day." ~Author Unknown

It took me over a year to come up with a name for my boat. One day coming in from cobia fishing with a bunch of buddies I made the comment that this boat is nothing but "Bad Juju". My buddy Dow said that's it. Low and behold she liked it and the next trip out we killed a cobia and ironically it was Tony Bearden's first one ever. There are many names out there for boats. Some very simple, and some very creative. One day the right name will just pop into your head and it will be a eureka moment.

Agreed. Just like naming a pup. Sometimes ya just gotta wait and let it happen. She'll tell you what her name is when she's ready.
Screw it. Let's ride.

O.G.G....Oil & Gas Guzzler, that's what you got with those Johnson's. Seriously though, one day when I do get a boat I like the name "Bout Time".

If you're retired, you might try "Dunwerkin".

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
