Some have stated those removed will simply be replaced by a never ending supply of 'new recruits' drawn to the increasing food source (with even more carcasses thrown in the water to attract them).
But I hope (and believe) you are right ;-)
There must be a 'tipping point' where their beady little brains just might compute that hanging around the pier isn't such a good idea!

If I had my way, there would be a mechanism in place for hauling and dumping the carcasses way out in the Gulf. There's no need for me to go into detail about possible downside scenarios. Here's hoping for a totally positive outcome!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
