Thank you David. "Most common" alright........

Awwwww. That's just my inner psychopath shining through the experimental meds they give me on a trial basis.
David was certainly MOST DEPENDABLE and MOST FREQUENT poster last year. He has more energy than two-year old twins with puppies.
He also catches lots of fish, which is most important.

Believe it or not this is my only form of social media. Being a teacher I thought it best I stay off the other sites. Without this site I would go crazy. Guys you do not want that for my students.

I have tried to give my fair share of info even though I'm sure it's not as detailed as others. I love & am grateful for the forum and the years worth of info from the regulars/veterans of the GSPier so I try to contribute and "give back" if I can.
I started fishing here in 2019 when I went on a little "vacation" to Gulf Shores for a week. And lemme tell ya I COMBED the forum for info, finding stuff from years to go to use (or attempt to, LOL) to my advantage. I am grateful for the forum, there's tons of information here that can truly help people + the daily reports.
For me, other than Ellis and Kirk (and the other kind folks..) posting the reports on Pier Rats there is simply too much garbage you have to scroll/click through on Pier Rats. Fake fishing reports, politics (that don't even relate to fishing..), fish from piers that are 20000 hours away, trolling, etc
. I thought the whole point of a fishing group was to talk about fishing. To each their own..

I am sure as the weather improves the activity will improve. I go through the same spurts every year. From about March on, I'll look at the forum daily until September or so. Then I go back to my fantasy football kick for a few months while we thaw out up here.
Keep up the good work to the regulars who take the time to post reports and tips. It is incredibly helpful to those of us with limited time on the coast. I'll continue to post what I can when i am fortunate enough to wet a line.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
