Thanks for all the suggestions, keep them coming. Fished from 1:30 to 3:30, nothing but cold. Still beats ice fishing.

Re. State Pier hot dogs: I've only had one and it tasted real good (Chili dog) which surprised me, but then I kept on tasting it for the next six hours. Almost completely broke me from burping.

+1 for Desoto's, really good meat (or fish) and three. Reasonably priced. Like Bill said Lilian's is great and so is Doc's. Lot's of good choices-I'll pass on the pier hot dogs if I can. Don't need that "re-occurring theme" thing going on.. And there's fresh raw bonita eaten on the peir when they are in if you like shashimi.

Keep in mind that Cosmo's will "cook your catch"-bring a fillet or two and they will cook it to order with side salad and two other sides for $14 per person. Their firecracker shrimp and cheese dip is perty dang good too.

I still love the Original Oyster House. Years ago they had AUCE popcorn shrimp and fish during snowbird season, from like 4-6pm M-Th. Do they still do that????

Doc's in GS used to have a great buffet. And the original in OB had a great blue plate at lunch.

One thing I have not found in either GS or OB is a good Chinese place, don't always want seafood when we eat fish 2-3 times/week!
