I've been mostly house bound recovering from Spinal Fusion Surgery so as far as Flu goes I've been lucky , Only going out to see
the Doctor , Wife works from home , and we do use those wipes at the supermarket when we have to go and hand sanitizer all the time now .
As for the Phrase "At Ease Disease " that took me back to my early Army days , Had a old school Drill Sargent and I think that was his
favorite saying , Thanks Mr Wire for that flash backIf you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and brother, it's starting to rain!

I was fairly lucky, got a little sickly so i went and got checked for the flu, doc said I wad 1 of 2 that tested neg out of 300+ in three days. Jollymon good luck with your recovery. I had microdiscotemy last Jan and now laying in the bed. Have an appointment Monday afternoon to see what the plan is. MRI shows to be worse than last year with loose fragments floating around.

I'm happy to say that I'm feeling almost human again, dragging ass a little but back at work.
Taking it slow and easy, my work even put another guy on my truck with me to do the lifting.
My lungs are still healing, danged little wind and no stamina, can't take a deep breath with out coughing and coughing can damned near make me pass out.Ragnar Benson:

This year's flu strains are pretty rough. There have been several school closings here in OK and more that should have closed but didn't. I've escaped it so far, even though the girlfriend caught it a few weeks ago. The flu is gone but she still has one of the ugliest sounding coughs that I've ever heard. The Dr that she went to also said that they're getting a lot of false negatives on flu tests this year.

Started with the flu on the 21st of jan... Still laid up trying to get over it , been to the er twice and im on strong antibiotics to fight a bad sinus infection caused by the flu...
I am a healthy 35 year old man. And im about to be sick for 2 weeks now..
The hospitals are filled to the brim so dont expect the type of help you would get outside of flu season...
So just a word of warning , avoid the flu at all costs, if someone is coughing or sneezing or looks sick, Stay away and avoid. Trust me you dont want this flu..

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Well. I got it too, flu and walking pneumonia. Luckily it’s not severe and the antibiotics and tamiflu is kicking in quick. But damn this sucks.
Oh and I did get the flu shot this year.
Just hoping my wife and kids don’t get it too we have a big trip planned for Mardi Gras break.Carl

Take it easy Carl, rest and get better.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
