Also, as Duck said, might want the vet to teach you to express them (squeeze the fluid out of them). Kinda gross at first but nothing to it after you do it a couple of times. Big time relief to the pooch. Basically just like squeezing a big zit.

Good thought DD, I'll bring that up when my granddad wakes up, the vet prices are criminal too so we might have to learn to express her glands

Just make sure you wear gloves and clothes you dont mind throwing away if it gets on u. That smell LINGERS
