Less than a month until pitchers and catchers report to spring training, starting 6 weeks of pretend baseball, followed by 162 games of filler before the playoffs. Then again paint drying can look positively stimulating.

Baseball was once described as paint drying with hotdogs ;-) LOL
But I enjoy watching it after the winter doldrums!

Lord knows---how did I forget about Golf? I think I'd rather listen to the sharks swimming around the cleaning station.
By the way, before injuries forced me to retire, I held both regional and state championships in watching paint dry and watching grass grow. I hold a Doctorate in both subjects that I earned from Auburn through the Internet.

I'm a baseball guy. I can't wait for the season to start! I will admit it can be pretty boring for the casual fan. I was an NFL fan for years but it is getting close to flag football. I have switched my football watching to college and find it more enjoyable....except the last game of the year.

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Haywire - How about varmint hunting? Or small-game? That's good exercise! And sometimes in small ponds, bass fishing can be great with just a week of 70 degree weather! There's always hogs out there that need shooting!

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
