Yea. I had one. SOB kicked like a dang mule. I shoot big bore rifles so I'm not afraid of recoil but that sucker hurt with a load of 3.5 mags. Shot ducks with it one year and sold it.

My browning turkey pump kicks like that with 3in shells....no way I'll try 3.5in shells....I normally only use 2-3/4 in

From what I've read they did; the reviews have been positive. But for $1500 they should be.

Re: Benelli Supernova
Most guys i know who shot 3.5" for ducks and geese switched back to 3" years ago, the extra money and recoil is just not worth it. The shot strings from 3.5" loads are way to long and they pattern much worse than 3" loads, you can only stuff so much shot in a 12 gauge bore...
That said, I had a Nova back when they first came out. Worked fine, I had no complaint. Only shot 2 boxes of 3.5" shells out of it and that was enough for me.
I sold it and bought a Berretta A390 and never looked back.Carl

Re: Benelli Supernova
Lots of times if you pattern your gun with 3" and 2 3/4 " shells you will find that the 2 3/4 " shells actually have the better pattern .

Re: Benelli Supernova
Question why 3.5? 870Express is the best duck gun. I shoot a Gold 3.5 but have gone to a 3in because there just wasn't that much difference in pattern of a 3/ 3 1/2.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
