    They catch blues like this all the time in the late fall at Cape Hatteras, NC

    They do in deed , some target them but most are caught by Drum fishermen when they show up at the Point and elsewhere .
    Throw a 2oz Sling Silver or 2oz Hoppkins at them in the Surf , lots of fun , Then throw it on your beach fire and that's good eating .

    I had one of those Hopkins spoons at one time, although I rarely used it. When I lived in Greensboro NC, my favorite place to fish was Atlantic Beach, Bogue inlet, Emerald Isle, etc.
