Did you fish there on the pier at sea oats if so what did you catch. I'm coming down June 22 and staying there n wondering if it be worth my time or just go to state pier and surf to fish

Yes, we fished there. Mostly at night. It was in July I do believe. It was easier for my kids to fish that pier since it is much closer to the water. And since it was at the condo, we could come back there and fish late into the night easily even when others were ready to go to bed. We did fairly well. Couple of reds and flounder and 'something' really big that I never turned or got a glimpse of. All under the lights there on the end of the pier with shrimp and small baitfish that we caught with the cast net. I'd still plan on fishing elsewhere as well though if it was me. We did fish GSP a few times during the day and hooked a couple of big sharks that my kids got a blast out of fighting for a few minutes.

And one other bit of wisdom. If you launch a boat at the condo ramp, don't step into the water while wearing crocks! That ramp is slick under the waterline.
