If you tell someone you want a "Coke" they will reply "what kind". At least us country boys will. In a restaurant they won't ask they will just bring you a Pepsi.

Hmm not sure. The only time ive ever been out there was when I was riding around with my buddies at night. We would go out there to scare the girls we had with us. It's a pretty creepy place but very historic. I wouldn't venture towards Selma. It's a crappy town that's been rundown.

I hear 'em called "soft drinks" a lot, which makes sense when the alternative is likely to be homemade white whiskey, which is definitely a "hard drink".

best whiskey I ever had was a 25 year old Suntory that my mother-in-law had hidden for 15 years before she gave it to me. Talk about smooth.
But I don't think you could call that local!Carl
Life is too short to drink bad beer.

+1 on FRIED blue crab claws and conecuh county sausage.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
