It does great in the soft sand. The tires only have a couple pounds of air in them and act just like the "Wheeleez" high quality surf cart wheels. I actually have a 4x4 electric cart that doesn't do as well in Baldwin Co. sand. This one is gas and uses about a tank and a half of gas per year.

I don't ride it on the beach. I ride it from the beach house to whatever beach access I want to fish at. You slide the Jettywalker backpack to the back of the cart bed and it's at the perfect height to strap on your back. It also serves well for beer, pizza, and ice runs to the store.

Nope---you can't have any kind of motorized vehicle on the beaches. I sure tried to figure a way when I had my beach photography business, but the answers were all "NO".

Wonder what they would say to a motorized wheelchair
If you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and brother, it's starting to rain!

I've seen those on the beach without any issues. I would like to assume they are not prohibited.
