    Tubing colors also available in a bow shop for peep site construction. Not my thing, but small diameters.

    When they are biting good it doesn't matter what is tied to the leader. I saw a guy with a bass worm hook and a 6 inch green plastic worm tied to the end and he was catching Spanish. You can throw out a bubble rig and just tie on a silver hook and they will hit the hook. Get on the pier and keep your eyes open. Somewhere on the pier the spanish will start biting. It won't be long and everyone will be fishing in that area. You can throw a lot of bubble rigs in one area because they come in on top.

    On some of the Myrtle Beach piers they use gold hook rigs (looks like an over-sized Sabiki) a lot for Spanish and jig them up and down along the side of the pier.
