Terrible news Ironman. Our pets become a very large part of our life. Mine is 13 and still thinks she's a puppy.10417463_10201844928153603_996149103368270129_n (2).jpg

there ALL puppies to me, some just a little older or bigger then others.....sad as it was, things have moved on and Fin was right I am remembering all the good times spent....and thanks John g for the poem "it's only a dog" that hit the nail on the head for me....I would hate to try and figure the hours spent, or the miles travel with the boy to enjoy each others company while doing what ever, it really never matter to him, just as long as he went, and that goes for me too.he always went, except on the vacations when we rented condo's.....He wasn't just a DOG
thanks for all the kind words!!!Bill..............

very sad news indeed ironman. Dogs are family, not pets. Always remember the good times when you start feeling low.
Two of my favorite quotes regarding dogs:
“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.”
―Milan Kundera
“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”
― Josh Billings
My dachshund is 13 and she's still chasing the chickens and squirrels. She's starting to slow down though, still got the heart just not the legs.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
