Nothing wrong with smoking the spots. I would rather catch a spot over a largemouth or smallmouth any day. What size spots were ya'll getting?

samll. one pound and less but we caught then on ultralight tackle so they felt big.

When you can get them on ultralight, you can't ask for more fun way up north in this dang fresh water. Glad you had a good time and I hope these North Alabama ppl treated you well.
