I gotta practice with my spinner it's got an 11ft med/heavy, and bait caster has a 7ft med/heavy and I can throw the bait caster easily 50 to 75 ft farther and it doesn't tear my finger up!!

Know this is not a levelwind but is one of the top casting reels and is similar to what you're wanting. My buddy casted a 5 oz weight 207 yards with one of these. http://www.alltackle.com/penn_525.htm
