Pawn shop find
Stopped by the local pawn shop to poke around. Found this later model 304 in the bottom of a bucket. Looked like crap - covered with 40 years of crud. One hour of cleaning revealed near perfect mechanicals. Not bad for $5

Re: Pawn shop find
It's now my sabiki reel. Took it apart and cleaned/regreased inside and I swear it feels like brand new.
Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: Pawn shop find
Yea. Already had 2nd thoughts about it. Hung it on a 5' Browning UL and I'm not sure I've ever had a rig as balanced as it. Prolly keep it away from salt altogether. Thinking white perch and bream.
Screw it. Let's ride.
