Ole Miss at Bama
Watch for me on tv. Probably be the only one there with a Bama hat and Ole Miss tee shirt.
Oldest son is Bama grad - youngest is junior at Ole Miss :slap:Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: Ole Miss at Bama
Ugly win, but a win is a win. Definitely a flat performance but the atmosphere in BDS was amazing. Had a great time and hope to be back there soon. I would recommend putting a game at BDS in every Bama fan's bucket list. Very memorable experience.
Screw it. Let's ride.

Sorry I wasn't there to experience it, and I agree that it was an ugly win, especially the second half, but it was sure good enough. RTR. Glad you had a good time. I need to have a talk with Coach Saban about the starting time---it's hard for an old fart like me to stay up that late to watch the whole game.

Re: Ole Miss at Bama
Roger on start time. I had a 4 hour drive through the rain back to Vicksburg. Got home about 3:00 am. But had a blast. The newly renovated stadium is awesome. Reminds of me of "Thunderdome"
Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: Ole Miss at Bama
"Ugly win"? ???
I agree with Coach Saban, Ole Miss is a lot better than many give them credit for.
They were prepared well and not for several 'greedy' miscues by their QBs could have made thing a lot "uglier" for Bama.
A Win is a Win

Re: Ole Miss at Bama
Don't get me wrong. Ole Miss definitely came to play and I'm on record that Freeze has them on the right track and I predicted a bowl for them two weeks ago. I'll go out on a limb and say that if LSU doesn't get it turned around right quick, the Rebs just might shock 'em.
But, yea, I thought it was an ugly win. Lots of sloppy play that didn't have anything to do with Ole Miss - missed coverages and the like. They really picked it up in the 2nd half when Freeze benched Wallace for his crappy play in the 1st half.
But, it was due. No team can play 100% every game. I was just happy to see the W.
