Meet Alberto an early arrival for the 2012 Hurricane season.
Tropical Storm Alberto forms in the Atlantic off the coast of South Carolina. Winds 45mph moving SW at 3mph pressure at 20.74".

If the pressure was really 20.74" we would all be sucked into a 'black hole' of a low pressure system ???
The advisory pressure of 1007 mb equates to 29.92"

ALBERTO IS EARLIEST-FORMING TROPICAL STORM IN THE ATLANTIC BASIN
SINCE ANA IN 2003.
THIS IS ALSO THE FIRST TIME THAT A TROPICAL
STORM HAS FORMED BEFORE THE OFFICIAL START OF THE HURRICANE SEASON
IN BOTH THE ATLANTIC AND EAST PACIFIC BASINS.
The next six months are going to bear watching!(RETIRED) mostly.
