Long Distance Oil Spill Effects
This may be of interest to some of yall.
Scientists are finding that pelicans that winter here on the gulf and then fly north to nest on a Minnesota lake have oil spill residue in thier eggs. It is not known yet if it will have effects to the developing young birds.

You know I don't guess I knew that Pelicans migrated, much less to a land locked lake! Some how I associated them with the ocean only.
