Here is an interesting eye-opening story.

Got to love areas where seal populations are 300 times higher than normal due to conservation practices.

If I get involved in the yakking experience, I don't think it will be in places with seals. ???

I'd been mighty tempted to have given it a good smack on the snout or dorsal with the paddle... Wonder if it would've pissed it off or sent it off after less feisty prey?

First time i saw a big shark from my kayak i threw a bait at it.... i feel like i'd be less likely to get messed with if the fish had a hook in it's mouth.
Pretty pathetic reasoning on my part... but sure is fun

We motored up on a hammerhead that was almost as big as my old 20' CC once, I had to throw a bait at it too. Just had to to do it. It swallowed a big hard tail and bit through 40# single strand like it was sewing thread, made one big swirl & was gone.
