Economical places to stay!
OK guys, just a quick question to get your thoughts:
Love coming down to fish but there has to be a more cost effective way for us to stay down there than paying 100-150 bucks a night at a hotel or condo. What do the guys that aren't local do for a place to stay without breaking the bank. Any advice would be welcomed as we would love to be able to come more often. Thanks for your response!
Re: Economical places to stay!
Well there's always the campground at the state park and there's lots of RV parks with some allowing camping as well. Just don't forget about possible bad weather, heat, and bugs. It can be pretty harsh at times down here. A pop-up camper or small RV with a/c would could work well. Affordable just is hard to come by during the peak summer down here. It stays busy, and prices will stay high until labor day and especially holidays and big concerts.
