Re: winter time projects
If I had my shop built, I'd be making a few hog traps. And fixing up my old one.

Re: winter time projects
I've got enough for 1 trap myself....just haven't seen the first hog up here, there around..... just not on my place....was going to try and use it for a few coyotes, but worried the neighbors dogs would get trapped and die before I got back to my place in the hills
I had projects planed to do....till someone decided they needed my metal more then me....darn scrap en thieves :boohoo:Bill..............

Probably for the best, those yotes are probably the smartest and wariest wild land mammal on the continent. Catching one in a live trap would be a tall order.

Re: winter time projects
Maybe it's just a coincidence but I've been seeing more and more the past few years. Driving from Al-La late night and early morning, it's about guaranteed I'll see quite a few. I always see quite a few around that space center near the MS/La state line. I guess they're higher on the food chain than most wildlife around here.

Re: winter time projects
They are EVERYWHERE!
This week leaving the GSPPier right at dusk I saw a coyote step out of the burn area onto the ROW as I passed in the curves at the NW end of Lake Shelby.
My Winter Project was building a "New and Improved" Ghost Shrimp Pump :yippee:

Can't wait to really try it out... (RETIRED) mostly.

Educate me a little bit if you will. What are good turbidity numbers? If you can check those stats and determine what the water looks like before you go, that would be VERY helpful!
