Rod for a Bama fan
Even though we lost this past Saturday, a true fan supports his team no matter what. So here is one I did for my father...a true fan! :headbang:

Re: Rod for a Bama fan
Hello Delta. I'm new to the site so I'm just going thru old posts trying to get up the speed. I love the rod so I went to your web site (great information) but am wondering about the specs of the rod. I can't tell if it is a surf rod or a King rod for the pier. What can you tell me about it?

Re: Rod for a Bama fan
First off...welcome to the site. 2nd, I was unaware I had a web-site...where are you guys seeing a web-site? I am based in Mobile, AL. Just across the bay from the pier. Also, the rod is a king rod not a surf rod. I used some different/unconventional approaches to make a very unique and different type of rod. Just trying some different stuff out.

Re: Rod for a Bama fan
Okay...apparently there is a guy in Ohio that has a web-site called "Delta Custom Rods"...Not really sure why in the heck a guy way in Ohio would call it "Delta" but oh well :wall:...Kinda glad I didn't get a web-site up and running yet because I would have run into some issues.

I seen fish killed in Melbourne in the early 70's, we were snagging some monster fish out of the ICWW around Merrit Island. loved the fishing opportunity's as a kid there, fresh and salt water both...
