Just need to finish the tying.....need to replace the Sunshine jig color plus a couple others

If you sell those I'd be interested in some. I'd be happy with unpainted or painted and not tied. I can tie my own.

Any of those hex heads 1oz?

No hex head..

Guess I'm going to make a mold. Have to find an old Allen wrench and cut it down. Do those have the same side to side action as the hex heads?

I found a "recipe" on the internet several years ago on how to cast lures with a home made mold. THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION, ENDORSEMENT OR SUGGESTION. In fact it is rather dangerous. This is more of a "hey y'all whaaachiss,'hold my beer'" sort of thing. I used a small plastic bowl(coat the inside with a thin layer of petroleum jelly) and poured it half full with Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty. As it begins to harden place the item to be reproduced half way down in the putty with the hook protruding outside the bowl(make a hole). Place three 1/2" plastic beads(coat with petroleum jelly) half way down in the putty. Let dry for 24 hours and remove the beads. Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly (what a waste, right?) to the entire surface of the dried material and top inside half of the bowl. Pour the other half with water putty and let dry for another 24 hours and remove the lure. I used a knife to trim out a tapered channel leading to the cavity for pouring the lead. I remember baking the two halves on low heat for a couple of hours to remove all the water. Pouring melted lead into water is a BAD IDEA. I smoke coated the inside of the mold to keep the casting from sticking. Use elbow length leather gloves and a face shield or expect to be injured badly. My results were mixed. The first attempt yielded a couple of dozen near perfect spinnerbaits and then the inside of the mold crumbled due to overheating. I believe I could have used that same mold indefinitely had I only made 6-8 and let the mold cool for a couple of hours between pours. I didn't bake the second mold and it sort of exploded-sort of. The next attempt was a "flippin" bass jig and it sank too deep in the putty. The next attempt I used black bbq grill high heat paint. E.P.I.C. fail. It was somewhere in this time frame that I got engaged and married and moved and came to my senses and bought lures at the store. I strongly suggest everyone do the same unless you purchase a Do-It mold.

Car body filler ( bondo) works too....but will burn out over time from the 600+ degrees temps of the molten lead, more for cobia jigs where your not making a bunch
Should be tutorials on you tube using bondo.... I know Obie from pensacola pier made one (cobia jig mold) in the past with bondo

buy a blank aluminum jig mold and have a machine shop make it for about $350.00

Never really fished for them before so.....
