Favorite king blanks?
How about a list for your favorite king blanks,
Would be nice to
Have a list of options when preparing to
Build a rod..
For plugs I love my rain shadow 1067,
As for working dead baits I love a noodle, lami1083
I'd love to find a similar blank to the 1083, any suggestions ?Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Re: Favorite king blanks?
Some of the Seeker PS90's are very close to the 1083m and you gain six inches.Wire guides towards the end hurt the action(learned that on Blane's rod so I built him another),so using two wire and four single foots is what I suggest.70mm,40mm wire and 25mm,20mm,16mm,12mm finished off with a 10(7.5) tip.

Re: Favorite king blanks?
i agree with pierboy01, gator BS596 is almost unbeatable for snobbing, but for a 2oz artificial, the batson SWB80M is great, but for live bait, i wont hardly use anything other than my 9'8'' finwick
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

Re: Favorite king blanks?
BS586 is to noodley in my personal opinion for a good spring snobble rod. The swb80ml is a better live bait blank than it is for artificials.

I think I can work a bait better with a noodle for some reasonGive a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years
