Best lure
Gentleman,
If you had to fish everyday at GSP and could use only one lure for the rest of your life, what would your choice be, what color pattern is your favorite, what size and weight is it, what style, brand, and size hooks would you use ?
I am very new to fishing and every time I look in a catalog I look in a catalog I find something that looks great to me but might not look so great to the fish......
Thanks in advance for your help in narrowing my choices down.
Thanks,
Chuck

Re: Best lure
Spoons and jigs have always caught anything that swims.... What works for someone may not work for you though, and the other way around. Experimentation= knowledge... Don't be afraid to use freshwater stuff too.. You may wanna change the hooks and split rings though ... I gaurentee there isn't a commonly targeted species that will refuse the right jig in various colors and sizes, I loveeeeeeee using 1/32 and 1/8 ounce crappie flies for sanish
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

You can buy them at J&M or you can build them yourself. Ironman172 has pics posted on the link I've posted below. Scroll down to the ones hanging from the rack.

Re: Best lure
Great ideas, keep those cards and letters coming........
How do you set up your bubble rigs.
Anyone ever use pork trailers?
What fish will be around the pier in mid-January ...
What rigs do you use treble hooks on....why?.
Thanks for the picture post.......
