All of these are well serviced and in most cases hotrodded (as with all my gear). Message with any questions

Re: Pier cart
First of all,I'm sorry to hear about what your family is going through and I hope everything turns out OK.I just wanted to let people know if they are shopping for a cart, this is a great deal.A new cart sells for $229 and with tax factored in it's pushing $250 depending where you buy it.BTW,nice looking Mitchell,I'd jump all over that if I fished them.

+1 on the well wishes
+1 on the cart - if I didn't like my home made rig so much, I'd be all over it. Be shocked if someone doesn't jump on it.
Good luck with everything.Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: Pier cart
A little more on the Mitchell, I set it up for a surf rod to cast heavier stuff than I usually fish for (pomps). I have a really good connection on parts and really have a knack for tinkering with things. Hell I even set the gear lash in it to specs. I have quite a few of my mitchells running around and this is the last of my personal stock. As for the Abu, I am the only one that I know of around here the surf fishes with them. I have probably over a hundred of them in europe that I have built. It has a special speed bushing in place of the spool gear to eliminate a windmill effect, as well as carbon fiber drag, abec 7 bearings in a balanced spool, on a ct frame (no level wind), and mags. The British surfcasters, taught me how to trick em out. 150 + yards is not unheard of.
