What's your budget? Also are you wanting a new one built to your specs or just a used cobia rod to get you by?

No problem, don't have any need to get rid Of the rod, just throwing something out there, and it probably won't even see the pier this year, unless I need to hit a googan over the head lol

Re: Looking to buy a custom Cobia Rod

i'm inseparable with mine, but if you want one built, as long you dont want anything TOO fancy, i can do fancy, just not intricate, ive been building rods for a couple of years and have gotten pretty good at it, i've built all mine, and if you want me to, i can hook you up at a good price (probably ranging from $150-$300) and only 300 if you go ALL OUT on it like i did. you tell me what you want, and i'll tell you exactly what to get, if you want me to get the components, it'll have to be the last week of march, but if you want it sooner, i'll tell you what to get and you can bring it to me. i'll send you my # on your personal messeges, if it dosen't come through, reply to this reasponce and tell me so and i'll txt it to you.
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I picked up a seeker ling rod too, from Pensacola pier 2-3 years ago....still haven't threw the first bait with it :boohoo: ....seems I always go to the gator .....maybe one day....to few cobia seen on the gulf shores pier compared to panama city ones ....I think they have first shot for piers and have seen many when we would stay there in the spring and not the boat gantlet along the pan handle before they get to gulf shores

John has a very nice custom one on the rack in the store at J&M. I fondled it for a few but had already gone over budget with my terminal tackle so she's still sitting there waiting for the right guy to come along.
