King rod and reel
I have a nice vintage spin master pro series V reel thats been converted to manual bail,its very nice is the same size as a penn 706 ,it comes on a nice older custom rod from smith out doors called a bayou classic ,,, ill take $75 for both ,which is a great deal for a king rod and reel

That looks like a South Bend reel I had when I was a kid. It had a brush set into a groove on the lower rim of the spool. The brush looked like a pipe cleaner and was meant to help keep line from getting under the spool. There is a notch cut in the rotor behind the roller. I was unable to think of reason why they put it there and I am still confused about it.
