    Are the Winds Quieting?

After a horrible weekend of wind, including a Friday that a lot pier mice had off from school (kinda), it seems the wind is finally getting out of the way.

Maybe a few days of light winds will let the water clear up and bring in a good king run next weekend. Is the pier usually packed during The Shrimp Festival?

Only when Springer is in town. LOL!
It sounds like the catfish and croakers pleased a lot of folks.
I guess when life gives you wind, catch croakers ;-)

We've had NEAP tides the past few days and the water looks slow to clear today, but it sure has calmed down!
Water visibility should improve by mid week.
    (RETIRED) mostly.
