Thread: Why you don't go swimming next to the pier....

Thought some people would enjoy the irony here.

"A fisherman had hooked the shark and been attempting to reel in the animal for 30 to 40 minutes when a group of long-distance swimmers swam by the scene around 9:20 a.m., Flores said.The shark bit the 40-year-old swimmer’s upper torso area then released him."

And of course they closed the pier to fishing for 3 days but the beach is still open! It's got to be the fishermans fault. 50 gajillian miles of beach in this world and people can't give a pier a NO swim zone for the handful of fishermen to enjoy their sport.

I saw the cell phone video of the incident and the swimmers were far to close to the pier.
