Why you don't go swimming next to the pier....

Thought some people would enjoy the irony here.
Swimmer in Stable Condition After Being Attacked by Shark Near Manhattan Beach Pier | KTLA 5
"A fisherman had hooked the shark and been attempting to reel in the animal for 30 to 40 minutes when a group of long-distance swimmers swam by the scene around 9:20 a.m., Flores said. The shark bit the 40-year-old swimmer’s upper torso area then released him."

And of course they closed the pier to fishing for 3 days but the beach is still open! It's got to be the fishermans fault. 50 gajillian miles of beach in this world and people can't give a pier a NO swim zone for the handful of fishermen to enjoy their sport.

I saw the cell phone video of the incident and the swimmers were far to close to the pier.
