Where should I surf fish?
I am staying about a mile west of the hangout. Caught a bunch of small whiting and stingray last night. Where should I go further west in fort Morgan where I can park and walk to a good fishing spot? Thinking about going down there in the morning after getting skunked at pier this am.

You might try the beach at Little Lagoon Pass about 3-4 miles west of where you are or the Pass itself Also could try Mobile St about 6-7 miles down Ft Morgan Rd on your left Parking lot and public beach access Propbably less crowded

Yep, what DAN said about Mobile St. is where I would try. Fewer swimmers.

What did you catch the whiting on, and how small. I'm making a quick trip down there and probably just be able to fish for a few hours Sunday and Monday.

Shrimp on a pompano rig. Guessing they were 8-12 inches. Tried again tonight and only caught one. Just kept pulling in tiny catfish.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
