Where to catch mud minnows at GS
My son and I will be coming down on October 15 for 4 days of hard fishing. We really enjoy catching our own bait and are interested in trying to trap/cast net some mud minnows for flounder. Not asking for anyone's "secret spot", and I know (generally) their preferred habitat, but where is a good place to start looking for them at Gulf Shores?
Looking forward to connecting some of the names here with some faces out on the Pier. Thanks ... Philip

I would throw the net at boggy point and cotton bayou ramps for finger mullet and small croakers. They will be right on the ramps. Early morning and evening seem best.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
