Something you can cast a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG way....

I used bubble rigs, Gotchas, Hopkins spoons, Kastmasters, Little Cleos, and Rattle Traps.

It's hard to beat a plain white Looney Jig.

I almost exclusively use a 1.5 oz. Sea Striker spoon available at all the local shops except maybe Wally World - bluefish, redfish, Spanish, and lady fish for fun. Then fresh shrimp/fishbites for Pomps and whiting, bull minnows for flounder.

Other than that, bubble or pompano/looney jig.

Carolina rig with a small-ish circle hook. Use as much weight as you need to keep it in place. Hunter found the best place to cast was just beyond where the waves would start to roll over and break. He couldn't keep his rig in the water for about an hour. Fish after fish, albeit they were very small.

I add a small 3/8" piece of orange Fishbites to a 1/2" piece of fresh shrimp on #4 Kahle hooks on a double bottom rig.
