    What's a good price?

What's a good, fair price for a Mitchell 301? Especially one that has never been used and is still in the box?

One good way I have found to see what the going price is on an item is by going on eBay and looking at the completed listings for the same item.

Yeah, tried that and they are kinda all over the place. Plus not many were in mint condition.

Really hard to say what the best price is since we don't know if it being bought for a collectors piece or fishing and being sold as a fishing reel or a collectors item.. i personally don't see the collectibility of it unless you are putting togeather 1 of every reel in that line so i will tell you what i would pay for a nib 300 for fishing purposes only. i would pay no more than 30 to 35 bones for a 300 since i am right handed a 301 would have no value to me except to flip and then i would only pay 15 to 20 bucks to flip for 30 to 40 bucks..

So what are the verdicts? Buying or selling? Collecting or fishing?
