What will the fishing be like this weekend
New to the forum but been around PFF and gckfa for a while. This is a great forum didnt know it existed. Asking for some advise I am comming down this weekend and was planning to do some daylight fishing off the Beach or the Pier but the wind looks like it will be kicking it this weekend. Just wondering what you guys think?

Re: What will the fishing be like this weekend
The forecast is for sunny and (seasonably) cool
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...66746520996094
With near flat seas on the beach and a 'crisp' northerly breeze in the AMs

... with an incoming tide most of the day the afternoon fishing could be 'most interesting' ;-)(RETIRED) mostly.

That'd be great Daniel! 8)
Yeah, I really like those 'coin' or 'no roll' sinkers (1 to 2 ounces) because they don't move much in a light surf.
If it's a little rougher than that I've always gone to a pyramid because it holds better in the sand.
But what I like even better than those are the lower profile 'surf sinker' :headbang:
