It is a very stiff rod, My best friend and I where surf fishing in orange beach. I tested the line after and it was like elastic. My little brother did catch a 30+ pound turtle out of Shelby lake on the same outfit. for 10 minutes he thought he was hung up! he was 7 at the time.
What rod/reel would be recommended?
