What size Bubble????
Yes, I googled but never got a good answer. What size bubble are y'al running on the bubble/straw rigs? Can't seem to find em in the larger sizes up here. Yes I know I can buy em but it makes my wife sympathetic to see me tying up rigs and stuff and hopefully she'll let me come back down sooner than mid-April.

2 inch typical. Smaller for ultralight rods.

Multiple places you can get them online Rainbow Tough Bubbles Amazon Ebay Bass Pro 1&3/4 inch is fine but you can find 2" You get your weigh for casting from the amount of water you put in them This is not rocket science The bubble rig is really simple Don't over think it I use two black figure 8 swivels 3-4 inches of 40 lb mono with the bubble between them Then 18" or so 40 lb regular mono with a number 3 or 4 treble and 2-3 inches of colored rubber tubing No beads No bell and whistles Simple and I'll put just as many spanish on the pier as anyone Keep it as simple as you can and enjoy !!

I don't even use swivels anymore, just a long loop with a bead for the bubble, hook and tube.

Thanks guys! Local shops have 1 3/4" and I can get the BPS to get me other sizes fairly quick. I was going to use a duolock at the hook end and a perfection knot loop on the bubble end.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
