weather change and fish bite
What has been your experience at the pier with weather disturbances like this one this morning in relation to the fish turning on or off? In my boat fishing experience I've seen it go both ways, and I'm hoping they turn on this afternoon.

Re: weather change and fish bite
i rode out a storm under the picnic tables with several folks 2 summers ago in AUgust. we had to stand on the tables to get under the roof enough to hope to stay a tad dry. in the end it did not work. Pete Pug and a few others were there. last probably 30 minutes or more with the wind howling and changing directions every few seconds raining so hard you could not see the bathrooms.
in between lightning bolts a few of us would run out an cast and as soon as the bait would hit the water you were hooked up.
so yes that day the storm definitely helped the bite
