    Water Temps?

I see the water temperature at the buoy is making progress on the way up. It's showing just over 60 degrees. Is the inshore water making similar progress? I know it's got a ways to go but a fella can wish... right???

Not sure what buoy you're looking at, but 12 miles out of OBch (@ 42012) the water temps have rebounded to 70 degrees!

There might be a 'king run' any minute! LOL
Like you said "a fella can wish... right???" ;-)

Inshore water temps respond well to 'warm spells' like we've had recently, but the water temps at Perdido Pass are still about 5 degrees lower than the near shore Gulf.

65 degrees is an ideal water temp for this time of year and the drum like species remain active.
Also pompano, flounder and even spanish mackerel are distinct possibilities!
