Water Temp Dip...
Not sure how much of this translates to the GSPPier, but the water coming into Perdido Pass from the gulf at high tide is 8 to 10 degrees cooler than that in the bay!
A dip similar to last month's 'upwelling' brought on by persistent westerly winds...

The cool water made it into mobile Bay this week. Friday morning catching bait around 4;30 the GPS said 79.8. It had been running 84-87 last weekend. That must have been a heckuva burp that came up out of the canyon. It very seldom pushes past the Tecumseh but had gone as far east as Litlle Point Clear.

You would think I would know this!
