Warning, this is not a drill!
For those of you who plan to fish the pier today, be prepared to have your bite shut down this afternoon. That's right, I plan to be there for the first time in over three weeks. The Doc thinks he has my meds in the right combo so they can take the boot off the wheel of my car and I can toodle off down the road.
I'm going to test the power of my curse by not fishing. Haven't figured out how to do that one-handed, yet. Yeah, I know---I can hold the stick of dynamite in my teeth while I light it, but throwing left handed, I don't think I can throw it far enough out to avoid structural damage to the pier.
You have been warned! Be prepared to stop, drop and roll, then take cover. Haywire's on the loose.

Haywire, good to hear that you are doing well and are on the way back. Look forward to your perspective and description of pier activities

Pier time, the cure for stir crazy.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
