I looked into the reg's....thanks for the replies....looks like I will be gigging along the beach if I can stay awake long enough after fishing 12hrs. during the day
a good mess of flounder would be nice to gig
the light and battery is on the way....just made the gig this morning mounted on a telescopic pole
sister/brother in-law(nephew) will be down for a week I guess....so maybe I need to get a sand flea rake made too....put the bride to work catching some baitor nephew....the heck with those sea shells she looks for, and does nothing with....catch bait

Talked to one of the outstanding young men working at J&M last week. He told me of a guy who gigged a limit in about a 1 mile walk in the surf. Never done it myself, but looks like it's very do able!!!

still waiting on the gig light and battery....but I'll be ready to at least try....with the beach at the front door and a little effort(staying awake) I'll try for some flat fish, and maybe a blue crab or 2 .

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
